I’ve heard it again and again—people in Saugus are tired of finding out about major town decisions after they’ve already been made. That’s not how good government works. If I’m elected, I’ll push for a more transparent process from day one. That includes improving the town website, launching an official, regularly updated Facebook page, and making sure residents have more ways to get information and give feedback before decisions are final—not after.
We have something special on Broadway—a real business district with history and potential. I want to see it thrive again. I’ll work to attract the kinds of businesses that fit our community and can actually last. That means streamlining permitting, offering support to small business owners, and making it easier—not harder—for local entrepreneurs to open and stay open in Saugus. More good businesses means more jobs and less tax pressure on residents.
I know how it feels when it seems like your voice doesn’t matter. That’s why I’m not running to be a “figurehead”—I’m running to be a real advocate. I’ll hold regular listening sessions, respond to questions and concerns directly, and make sure residents have a seat at the table before big decisions are made. You won’t have to chase me down—I’ll be there.
Traffic has been a problem in Saugus for too long, and while some of it’s out of our hands, we can do better. I’ll call for a town-wide traffic study to pinpoint our worst bottlenecks and push for smart fixes—whether that’s signal changes, intersection redesigns, or better coordination with state agencies. This isn’t about Band-Aids—it’s about long-term solutions.
As a contractor, I know how much time and money get wasted when systems don’t work. Town government should run more like a well-managed job site: clear timelines, fewer delays, and real accountability. I’ll advocate for better internal systems, easier access to permits and services, and more follow-through across departments. When town government works better, life gets easier for everyone.
Owning a home in Saugus shouldn’t be out of reach. I’ll advocate for responsible, balanced growth—supporting affordable housing and first-time homeownership opportunities without overwhelming our schools and services. I’ll also push for smarter ways to manage 40B developments—so we’re not just reacting, we’re planning ahead. We can protect what makes Saugus feel like home and make room for the next generation.
